Apple Celery Julep

I hope you are thirsty... I worked on a series of signature cocktail recipes for Snippet and Ink with Paula Le Duc Fine Catering that will be rolling out weekly this summer. Here is the first recipe these tasty apple celery juleps from the beverage team at Paula Le Duc Fine Catering. Tune in to Snippet and Ink every Wednesday to catch the other drinks. 

Ingredients:

• glass – silver julep cup
• method – shake & strain
• garnish – leafy celery top; thin green apple slice
• 1 oz. Vodka
• 1/2 oz. Akvavit
• 1 oz. PLDFC house-made celery cordial
• 1/2 oz. German Apple Liqueur
• 3/4 oz. fresh Lemon Juice
• 2 sprigs of lemon thyme

 

Directions:

Add all ingredients above, shake and strain into silver cup over crushed ice, top up with more crushed ice to form a mound.
